Specific Applications : There are microcomputers for industrial control application. That is what I mean by specific applications. If you want to play video game and television set attachment is not good enough then get yourself a home entertainment microcomputer. But, if you want a microcomputer to control machines on a shop floor,then buy something that has been designed specifally fo that task.
